After months of hard work, research for the best available materials, development, and many ballistic tests we finally created a special ceramic lineup for our level IV (model #0949) armor which makes it extremely strong without sacrificing weight on the plate. Some other conventional body armor plates using monolithic ceramic strike face which cracks when hit by an M2AP or any other heavy round, producing ‘spiderweb’ cracks across the plate, greatly reducing the plate’s ability to defeat multiple rounds.
